Start by creating a 'Program' under 'Programs' menu. Example of a 'Program' is 'MBA', 'EXECMBA' in a B-School scenario.
After creating a 'Program', create 'Courses' under 'Programs' menu. Example of a 'Course' is 'MBA2012' under the Program 'MBA', 'MBA2013' under the Program 'MBA', 'B2BMKTGElective' under MBA etc.
Then create various 'Topics' under 'Programs' menu. These can be thought of as chapters that hold actual content. Example of a 'Topic' can be 'B2BMKTG-Chapter1', 'B2BMKTG-Chapter2' etc.
Then add one or all all the 'Topics' to one or more Courses from 'Courses<->Topics' menu item.
Create Students,Batches of Students:
Create Students using the menu item 'Student' under 'Students' menu. Each student is created under only one 'Program'.
Create a Batch. A Batch is for a Course and you can create multiple batches under the same Course.
Then add 'Students' to a Batch from 'Batch<->Students' menu item. Only when an student is part of a Batch, he/she will
be able to go through the Course for which the Batch is created. Note that while a student can be part of only one 'Program', he/she
can be part of multiple 'Batches'.
Create Content,Question Bank, Exams:
You can add content to each Topic from 'Upload Content' menu item. With this step complete, you are ready to offer your courses online to your students.
If you want to use the Exam and Assessment platform that is part of vLearning, go through the rest of the steps in this section.
Create Question Bank for each topic.
Create one or more exams from 'Exam' menu item. If you want to assess a student at the end of a course,
create the Exam with 'Exam Type' as 'Final Test'. Otherwise, if the student can take an exam any number of
times as part of practice while going through a Course, create it with type as 'Practice Test'.
Now add questions from the Question Bank to the Exam. Once this step is done, your students can start taking the exams.
