hubVirt was started in the year 2009 in Bangalore as a privately held company. Our team consists of experienced people who understand the impact made by technology in businesses. We aim to bring together our understanding of business requirements and latest technologies to create niche applications for customers who can leverage the power of internet.

We offer business solutions over the internet in a SaaS(Software as a Service) model to customers, thus eliminating the need for huge infrastructure and maintenance on customer's end.

 

Mission

Enable enterprises which do not have access to automation tools, to improve productivity and cost effectiveness, by providing software solutions that are accessible, affordable and easy to use.

In short it is to provide 'Simple, Affordable and Accessible Solutions'.

Management Team



 

Suresh Avantsa, Managing Director

Text Box:    Suresh is a post graduate from IIM Bangalore and holds a B.Tech from JNTU. He has more than 15 years of experience in IT   industry involving architecture, design, development, testing, on site implementation, production support, estimations, Function Point   Counting, Project Planning etc. He has vast experience in architecting and building business applications on a wide range of   technologies. He has experience of working in both product and service settings.

While working in CMC, he worked on a middleware product, developed an application from scratch and helped in the successful implementation for an international port terminal. Working through very tight budgets and schedules on many projects for an international telecom customer at IBM, he successfully delivered high quality software and helped in driving productivity improvement initiatives. He was also involved in people management and leading teams in IBM and Sterling Commerce and helped put in place many process improvement initiatives in Intec. He is passionate about the internet and the ways in which its power can be harnessed on a wide variety of solutions and activities.

 

 

Uma A, Director

Text Box:    Uma is a post graduate from IIM Bangalore and a graduate in Computer Science. She has a brilliant academic background. She   scored a high 99.88 percentile in CAT 2005 and also 760 in GMAT (99th percentile). She got final admission to all six   IIMs   in 2006. She was one of the 20 shortlisted students for Aditya Birla Scholarship in 2006 from IIMB.

  She has a wide ranging industry experience and has worked in companies like CMC, Citicorp and Yes Bank. Writing is one of her passions and she has authored industry based research reports and newsletters for various clients. She has contributed various insightful articles to many webzines in the areas of IT, Finance and FMCG. She has also received acknowledgements for assisting Prof. R. Narayanaswamy in authoring the book 'Financial Accounting - A managerial perspective'.

Professor S. Sundararajan

Text Box:    Professor S. Sundararajan, Dean, Gulf School of Business and Director, Morison Muscat Knowledge Centre (MMKC) was a Professor at   Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) for 18 years. He was a member of the Governing Board and the head of the   Executive Education at IIMB. Before joining IIMB in 1991, he worked for a nationalized bank and a mining and manufacturing company   for about 2 years each and was a consultant for 16 years. He was a recipient of Best Professor Awards from the students at IIMB. His   name appeared in the 2006-07 edition of the WHO'S WHO of Professionals of the International WHO'S WHO Historical   Society, which documents biographies in history since 1928.

Professor Sundararajan holds a degree in Mathematics and Law and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He was associated with ICAI as: a) invited member of the Accounting Standards Board for 4 years; b) member of the Committee for Review of Education & Training; and c) member of the Task Force set up by ICAI to prepare the Concept Paper on Convergence with IFRS. He was nominated by the Securities and Exchange Board of India on the Council of Management of Bangalore Stock Exchange. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of several companies. With a unique combination of mathematics, statistics, law and accounting qualification and practical experience in banking, manufacturing, consulting & teaching in a renowned business school, Professor Sundararajan is eminently positioned as a high value creating educator and consultant.

He has conducted public programs as well as in-company programs for many well known organisations in India and Gulf Region on Financial Statement Analysis, US GAAP, IFRS, EVA, Balanced ScoreCard, Valuation of Companies, Corporate Governance and Strategic Cost Management. His major consulting assignments as professor of management include Management Audit of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development at the behest of Reserve Bank of India; Review of the System of Decentralisation, Inventory Management and Credit Policy of HMT; Review of Performance of Andrew Yule; Restating Financial Statements of Sasken Communication Technologies under US GAAP; Designing Performance Evaluation Model for Regional Rural Banks sponsored by Canara Bank; Review of Accounts of IMPM Centre- Lancaster University; Review of Performance of Franchisee Clinics of Apollo Hospitals; Mentoring two senior executives at HP; preparing the business growth plans for Oman Fisheries Company SAOG, the largest fishery company in the Gulf region and Nanda Group, a well known business group engaged in poultry business in India; and designing and implementing a Performance Measurement and Management System for SASLO, a well known international law firm of Oman. He is also invited by Wiley's to author a book on IFRS.

 

 

Venkata Voruganti, MBA, LLB, CAIIB, CFA, CPA, PMP, CTAL-TM

Text Box:    Venkata did his MBA from Faculty of Management Studies - University of Delhi, CFA from Institute of Chartered   Financial   Analysts of India, CPA from New Hampshire Board of Accountancy and Journalism from Harvard University in USA.   Venkata is   also a certified Project Management Professional.

  Venkata has more than 30 years of experience in Banking and Information Technology industries. He has expertise in creating   solutions, meeting functional and technical requirements and ensuring complete customer satisfaction, with a special focus on implementation, production support and quality assurance of financial applications. He has three United States patents in the area of test automation granted in his name as Inventor.

Venkata worked in senior consulting and managerial positions in Fortune 500 companies, such as Oracle Corporation, General Electric and American Tower in USA.

 

 

R. Pramod Murari

Text Box:    Pramod holds a Bachelors Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering. He has contributed to the Indian IT Industry for over   30   years, in a wide variety of roles. He worked for the United Nations Development Program in the field of Education &   Training and   Research Application for Developing Nations. While at the R&D Center of CMC Limited, he worked for a project in   creating Self Learning   Training material for Agricultural Village Officers, using Multi-media technology. At CMC Limited, as the   Vice   President,   International Operations, he was responsible for many mega Projects in different countries.

Pramod has set up offshore Development Centers in India for COMPASS Design Automation, who specialize in ASIC Design and for Ariba. He has set up a Center of Excellence for CNA - One of the Leading Companies in Building Management System and Green Energy Solution.

He has conducted many training Programs on TQM and on Quality in Software delivery. One of his passions is Usability Engineering of Software Applications. With vast experience in conducting critical international projects, leading large teams on time bound projects and driving marketing initiatives for a variety of software products, Pramod has a wealth of experience in the IT space. He has also mentored many professionals in a wide variety of areas.
